The right size for your pet: The carrier size should ensure that the animal can always stand upright without its head or ears touching the top of the cage. It should be able to turn around and lie down in a natural position.
Ideal depth (A + 1/2B): Measure your pet from the nose to the base of the tail, then add half the length of its front paw.
Ideal width (C x 2): Measure the distance between the shoulder blades and multiply by 2.
Ideal height (D): Measure your pet's height from its paws to the tip of its ears.
