Royal Canin Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie is a dry food for adult cats that helps dissolve all types of struvite stones. The low RSS helps decrease the concentration of ions that contribute to crystal formation. It promotes diluted urine, decreasing the likelihood of struvite and calcium oxalate urolith formation. In addition, this food has a moderate calorie content to help maintain ideal weight.
RECOMMENDED FOR CASES OF:
- Struvite uroliths: dissolution and prevention of recurrence.
- Calcium oxalate uroliths: prevention of recurrence.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CASES OF:
- Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
- Heart disease (when sodium restriction is targeted).
- Concomitant use of urine acidifying medications.
- Growth, gestation and lactation.
