Pro Plan Veterinary Diets NF Renal Function is a complete and highly palatable veterinary diet to help manage adult and senior cats with advanced stages of chronic kidney disease. This food contains restricted amounts of phosphorus, as this mineral has been shown to contribute to the progression of the disease.
Formulated with high-quality protein in restricted amounts to help minimize the formation of uraemic toxins, clinically beneficial in renal patients, while helping to minimize muscle loss. Contains omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) to help support the kidneys in advanced stages of kidney failure: they help minimise inflammation and improve renal haemodynamics.
This food is not suitable for cats requiring a high protein intake, such as pregnant females or growing kittens.
