Pro Plan Veterinary Diets NF Renal Function Early Care is a complete veterinary diet to help manage adult and senior cats in early stages of chronic kidney disease. It contains restricted amounts of phosphorus, as this mineral has been shown to contribute to disease progression.
This food contains high-quality protein in moderate amounts to help minimise the formation of uraemic toxins, which is clinically beneficial in renal patients, while also helping to minimise muscle loss. It contains omega-3 fatty acids that help to minimise inflammation and improve renal haemodynamics.
This food is not suitable for cats requiring a high protein intake, such as pregnant queens or growing kittens.
Consult a veterinary surgeon before use or before extending the period of use.
