Pro Plan Veterinary Diets EN Gastrointestinal is a veterinary diet for adult cats, for reducing intestinal absorption problems, nutritional restoration, and convalescence. It is a highly digestible food with increased sodium and potassium levels, high energy density, high concentration of essential nutrients, and great digestibility.
Gastrointestinal disorders are often associated with malabsorption and maldigestion. This formula contains selected highly digestible ingredients to help reduce the burden on the compromised intestine and help minimise adverse gastrointestinal reactions. It also contains a limited number of protein sources to help minimise any food reactions.
EN Gastrointestinal contains prebiotics to help promote a healthy intestinal environment and is highly palatable, which is very important for cats with intestinal disease, as they generally have a decreased appetite.
