Pro Plan Veterinary Diets NF Renal Function ADVANCED CARE is a complete veterinary diet to help manage adult and senior cats with advanced stages of chronic kidney disease. This diet contains restricted amounts of phosphorus, as this mineral has been shown to contribute to disease progression.
NF Renal Function ADVANCED CARE contains high-quality protein in restricted amounts to help minimise the formation of uraemic toxins, which is clinically beneficial in renal patients, and to help minimise muscle loss.
Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) help support the kidneys in advanced stages of kidney failure: they contribute to minimising inflammation and improving renal haemodynamics.
This food is not suitable for cats requiring a high protein intake, such as pregnant females or growing kittens.
