HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simply go to http://dogfinder.mycurli.com and register your details and those of your dog. It is possible to register multiple harnesses for the same dog and associate multiple dogs with the same owner.
My dog is missing. What should I do?
Scenario A: The owner has lost their dog and takes the following steps. First, they go to the website and tell the system their dog is missing. The system will notify stores and other people registered with DogFinder in that area to look for it, indicating identification number XXXXXX. The system will provide the dog's name and, if available, also a photograph. Under no circumstances will any personal data of the owner be disclosed. When the dog is located, they then need to inform the DogFinder system.
Scenario B: Whoever finds your lost dog wants to know who the owner is so that it can be returned. With the DogFinder IDTM, they can tell the system that they found the dog, with the DogFinder ID number XXXXXX, and the system relays the information to the owner, thus connecting the owner and the locator, so the dog can be returned.
