The Benebone Wishbone is a toy shaped like a "wishbone". It has rounded corners, making it completely ergonomic and comfortable for dogs. No matter how the dog picks it up, they will be able to chew comfortably. It was specially developed for dogs to satisfy a natural need that should not be suppressed: chewing. Every dog needs to chew. It's a primitive instinct almost impossible to suppress. And we shouldn't try to suppress it, but rather encourage it with appropriate objects instead of chair legs or slippers and shoes around the house. Benebone was, therefore, specially developed for dogs to have wonderful and satisfying moments, chewing safely, stimulating them physically and mentally.
The Benebone Wishbone is rigid, not edible, and also not indestructible. Like all good things, a Benebone will eventually wear out. For safety, once it loses its original shape, it should be replaced. We don't want your dog chewing on something pointed. In some cases, months may pass before it reaches that point. But if your dog has an anxious mouth and loves to chew, it might last less. Keep an eye on it.
Benebone does not contain artificially introduced scents to stimulate you, the human, which could be harmful to the dog. Only real Peanut, Bacon, or Chicken. You won't be able to smell it, as your nose is accustomed to artificial palatability enhancers that try to imitate the original scent. But rest assured that your dog, whose sense of smell is thousands of times more powerful than yours, will identify the scent.
Many people might wonder: Is it edible? No. Dogs usually chew and leave crumbs on the floor. But in some cases, ingestion occurs. This is perfectly safe as they are small, inert granules that will not harm or cause any problems for your dog.
To choose the best size, consider one that is larger than your dog's mouth (3 to 5 cm laterally on each side of the mouth).
We recommend:
- Small size (S) for dogs up to 13kg,
- Medium size (M) for dogs up to 27kg
- Large size (L) for dogs up to 40kg.
Instructions for use:
Offer it to your dog and observe their interaction with the toy. If they manage to detach large splinters from the product (which is extremely rare), discontinue use. As with any other toy, never leave your dog alone with the Benebone. Always stay close, supervising.
