Dental care
The appearance of dental problems is common in small mammals. In most cases, they are a direct consequence of an inadequate diet, which does not allow for the necessary natural wear of the teeth and their continuous growth. The addition of specific whole long fibers with a high silicate content in the Cavia Complete pellets ensures maximum chewing activity, necessary tooth wear and good oral health.
Fresh vegetables
The extrusion process allows fresh vegetables to be added to the pellets. The addition of a minimum of 10% fresh vegetables ensures a more palatable taste, as well as contributing to the high digestibility of Cavia Complete.
Long fibers
Guinea pigs are naturally herbivores that require a diet with a sufficiently high fiber content and a low starch content. Cavia Complete contains 20% crude fiber. The most unique aspect of this product is the manufacturing process, which means that these foods contain long, silicate-rich fibers, undigested, like those present in natural foods. Long fibers help and improve the functioning of the intestine and mouth more effectively than the finely ground fibers of classic rodent feeds.
Low calories
The combination of low energy content, low starch content and high content of long dietary fibers incorporated in the same pellets allows for an easily digestible and balanced diet. In this way, your pet will be able to maintain its ideal weight.
Florastimul
The unique addition of prebiotics, Fructo-OligoSaccharides (FOS) and Mannan-OligoSaccharides (MOS), supports the intestinal flora in general. This results in an optimal balance and good intestinal function.

Guinea pigs cannot produce vitamin C autonomously in their bodies. Therefore, for these little animals, the intake of vitamin C through food is vital.
