1. The recommended quantities are merely indicative and should be adapted to the animal's actual energy needs. Energy requirements depend on climatic conditions, ambient temperature, activity level, body condition and breed size. Small dogs may need 15% to 25% more energy per 500g of weight than large dogs. The daily ration should be divided into several meals. Make sure your dog always has fresh water available.
